Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data websites keep in your browser. This page explains which ones Mystic Odyssey uses.
We store a few preferences directly in your browser's local storage — your nickname, chosen skin, audio settings, and your cookie consent choice itself — so the game remembers them on your next visit. These never leave your device and can't be disabled through the banner (you can always clear them via your browser settings).
When bot protection is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short cookie or token during verification. This is strictly necessary to tell human players from automated abuse and isn't used for tracking or advertising.
With your permission, Google Analytics (GA4) sets first-party cookies
(typically named _ga and _ga_*) to measure
aggregated, anonymized usage — such as how many people play and how
engagement changes over time. These are set only after you accept,
and Google Analytics runs under
Consent Mode
so nothing is stored until you do. GA4's default retention for these
cookies is up to 2 years.
You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the consent banner. You can also block or delete cookies entirely through your browser's settings, though this may affect how well the game remembers your preferences.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the data described above.
