SteerMove your mouse or use WASD/arrows. On touch, drag anywhere.

BoostHold click, Space, or the ⚡ button to sprint — it burns essence as you go.

MenuPress Esc to pause. Your spirit stays in the world — and stays absorbable — while it's open.

Grow

Essence orbsGlide over the glowing dots scattered everywhere to grow.

Absorb rivalsA spirit ~20% bigger than you can absorb you — and you can return the favor once you outgrow them.

Cut ribbonsCross a rival's trailing ribbon to sever it — the spilled essence is free for anyone nearby.

WispsSmall fleeing spirits worth a burst of essence — chase them down.

Gilded WispsRarer, richer wisps found haunting the Ruins.

Shrine of DivisionTears essence from spirits massive enough to trigger it and scatters it as a public feast. Smaller spirits pass safely beneath it.

Shrine of SilenceHides every name nearby (yours too) and pauses decay and boost inside its hush.

Shrine of TransmutationFeed it essence while boosting past it; it repays a boon shaped by your last few deeds (shown as glyphs under your essence count).

SkinsReach essence milestones to unlock new looks for your spirit.

Dangers

DecayEssence slowly fades over time — you can't just park in first place.

The Ancient GuardianHaunts the Ruins. Too small and it wounds you; big enough and slaying it bursts a trove of essence.

DissolvingGet absorbed by a bigger rival and your spirit dissolves — but you rise again and start growing right away.
